and mind to read the part and the whole in an instant in front of an object as well as the working method of meeting an object and materializing the image through \u201cphotographic breathing\u201d. To Boomoon, whose motif is vast nature with no human traces, \u201clandscape\u201d is not something that exists, but a phenomenon revealed by the person who sees it. The phenomenon is never static and constantly changes by countless conditions, time, light, climate, etc. The artist has called \u201cphotographic respiration\u201d to approach the image through the act of taking pictures, where he encounters \u201clandscape\u201d and expresses it while breathing. \r\n\r\nThe large-scale landscape works with glaciers and drift ice belong to the \u201cNorthscape\u201d series and are landscapes of frozen land that the artist has consistently worked on since 2000. For the artist, North is not only a geographical direction, but also a new direction in life and work. In a place of isolation and silence, experiencing new light and form that compels us to abandon familiar standards and habits, the northern landscape is filled with the tranquility of the beginning. The large-scale (180x240cm) image, which clearly captures countless details in the expansiveness that extends from the eyes to the horizon, invites the audience to stand where the artist stood and experience the correlation of various elements that make up the landscape, and to become a part of it. \"In my work, the place of a person is not in the image, but the place where I stood, right in front of the image. That place is open to all who want to stand there.\" Boomoon's works allow the audience to experience vastness as a way of existing in the present.\r\n\r\nThe \u201cWaterfall\u201d series, unveiled for the first time in this exhibition, is a new \u201clandscape\u201d of water on the border between darkness and light, appearing and disappearing. It is an image that can only be captured by a camera, which is outside the limits of the world, and reminds us once again of the artist's position of \"seeing with a camera that complements the imperfect human perspective.\" Rather than a waterfall, exploding water adapts to any form.
