After graduating from the College of Fine Arts at Seoul National University, he moved to the United States in 1975 and, as an artist, presented a cultural challenge to the materialistic mainstream, drawing attention from the American art community through works that capture the spiritual world of the Orient. The works to be shown at Gallery Shilla this time consist of canvas work and DWG work, and about 30 works are exhibited.
