서울 신관개관전
갤러리신라는 서울 삼청로 111 에 새로운 공간을 마련하였습니다.
이번 서울 전시장의 개관은 2021년 서울 전시장 개관 후 2년, 대구전시장 개관 후 32년만의 확장이전 입니다.
역사의 도시 삼청동 대로변에 위치한 지상 3층, 지하 1층의 서울전시장은 1·3층 전시장과 2층 뷰잉룸이 배치되어 있어, 각종 미술관련 프로그램과 우리 시대의 가장 창의적이고 영향력있는 작가들의 작품들을 가장 용이하게 접근할 수 있는 최적의 공간이 되고자 합니다.
1992년 대구에서 개관한 갤러리 신라는 현대미술 특히 동시대 현대미술 전문화랑을 기치로 표방하고 Post-Modernism 미술 중에서도 개념미술과 미니멀아트 그리고 단색화작업들에 중점을 둔 작품 전시를 진행 해왔습니다.
백남준과 한국의 대표 단색화 작가이신 박서보, 윤형근과 서승원, 최명영, 이강소, 모노하 작가 키시오 스가, 개념미술의 로버트 배리, 미니멀 작가 로버트 샌드백, 타다아키 쿠와야마 그리고 니엘 또로니, 알란 챨톤 등 다수의 세계 최고 작가와 작업을 진행해왔으며, 앞으로도 계속 진행 될 것입니다.
갤러리 신라의 모태인 대구 전시장은 32년 전 개관 당시 표방했던 미래재향적이고 진보적인 새로운 현대미술을 위해, 초심을 잃지 않고, 상업적 성공보다는 예술의 진정성을 위해 존재하는 중추적인 공간으로서의 자리매김이 되도록 정진하겠습니다.

Gallery Shilla has prepared a new space at 111 Samcheong-ro, Seoul.
Since the opening of the Daegu exhibition hall 32 years ago, Gallery Shilla has taken the first expansion and opened the Seoul exhibition hall in 2021. After 2 years, the Seoul exhibition hall has relocated and opened a new space in April, 2023.
Located along the main road in Samcheong-dong, a historical city, the Seoul Exhibition Center is divided into three floors in order to provide the most accessible and optimal space: the exhibition halls are on the 1st and 3rd floors and the viewing room is on the 2nd floor. Inside the viewing room, we display various art-related programs and the works of the most creative and influential artists of our time.
Opened in Daegu in 1992, Gallery Shilla is a gallery specializing in contemporary art. We have been working with Nam June Paik, Korea's representative monochrome artists Park Seo-bo, Yun Hyoung-keun, Suh Seung-won, Choi Myoung-young, Lee Kang-so, Mono-ha artist Kishio Suga, conceptual artist Robert Barry, minimalist artist Robert Sandback, Tadaaki Kuwayama, Niele Toroni, and Alan Charlton. As we have been presenting artists around the world, we will continue to work alongside our artists.
Daegu, the origin city of Gallery Shilla, is positioned as a pivotal space that exists for the authenticity of art rather than commercial success. Without losing its original intention when it first opened 32 years ago, we will do our best to advocate for the future-oriented and progressive new contemporary art.
